Charlene Sarmiento is the manager of marketing and brand development at Goodwill Industries International, the second largest nonprofit organization, according to the Nonprofit Times. Charlene guides the day-to-day management of marketing and brand efforts for the 116 year old American brand, including review, direction, and creation of messaging and content, collateral and advertising creative, logo usage, and initiative promotion. Previously, she served on Goodwill Industries International’s public relations team, where she developed and executed external and strategic communications, video production, national media relations campaigns and media measurement. Prior to Goodwill, Charlene worked in television news as a producer and writer. Charlene has an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
