Marketing Manager, Georgetown University
After 7 years, Kim’s reason for getting into marketing still rings true—she loves people, understanding what they do, and why they do it—and continues to use this human-centered approach in her marketing today. Kim is currently a Marketing Manager at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, where she runs the School’s five social media accounts, supervises 64 program-level social accounts, and manages the strategy for both organic and paid social media (which also allows her to flex her graphic design muscles). She also oversees branding projects and the media planning strategy for 500+ placements. Prior to Georgetown, Kim worked for four years as an Assistant Marketing Manager for the luxury hair product company, Oribe, based in New York City. There, she handled all components of the product launch marketing lifecycle.
Kim graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on social and consumer behavior, a minor in Religion, and a certificate in Markets & Management Studies. She is currently in her final semester at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business where she’s earning her MBA.
