Leah is an award-winning marketing strategist with more than 15 years of experience in the high-technology industry. She founded Gabriel Marketing Group (GMG) in April of 2009 to do what she truly loves: help early-stage companies boom.
Leah has worked for and with both domestic and international software and hardware companies of all sizes, from incubators with less than three employees to Fortune 10 companies, giving her insight on the technology business from all sides. Her resume includes executive-level strategic roles focused on new market entry for Motorola, and Symbol Technologies as well as leading marketing efforts for technology start-ups in the B2B software, services and mobile markets.
Prior to founding GMG, Leah spearheaded the go-to-market strategy for Motorola’s Field Mobility division, focusing on emerging markets and mobile workforce applications such as field service, asset management, sales force automation, merchandising and more. She has consulted for more than 200 software and services companies, including DoubleDutch, Acronis, Intronis (acquired by Barracuda), AppMakr (acquired by ShareThis), GroupLogic (acquired by Acronis), Magpi, Infowave, Feed Henry (acquired by Red Hat), Parature (acquired by Microsoft), Vocus (acquired by Cision), Cognizant, and IBM. She is also the recipient of numerous marketing, sales, writing and industry awards including being named CEO of the Year for Boutique PR Agencies, multiple Stevies for Women in Business, and named to PR News’ prestigious “One to Watch.” DCInno recently recognized her as one of the “Top 10 Most Powerful Women in the DC Startup Community” as well as one of DC’s “50 on Fire” in 2014. In 2016, Leah was honored as a SmartCEO 2016 BRAVA Award winner for her dynamic involvement with the D.C. tech community and her charitable work in the community.
