Lisa has been with SpeakerBox for sixteen years and serves in an executive management role for the firm and its clients. She provides strategic oversight on client accounts, manages day-to-day operations of the business and oversees staff development. With strong experience in the open source, security, wireless, enterprise software and supply chain space, Lisa focuses on enabling her teams to deliver against aggressive communications goals.
Lisa has carved out a niche in the startup community, giving a voice to relatively unknown innovators and organizations in need of remarkable, creative thinking to stand out from the crowd. She has entrenched herself in the DC Tech scene, significantly raising the profiles of companies in the region and the region itself. She digs in with emerging companies and organizations and possesses a strong understanding of their unique growth triggers, market pressures, and core requirements for success.
Lisa has been recognized with numerous awards and achievements for her contributions to the communications profession and technology industry. In May 2017, Lisa was recognized alongside CEO Eiizabeth Shea by Washingtonian Magazine as two of the “Top 100 Tech Titans,” in the Dealmaker category. Lisa was listed among the “Power Women in Tech” by Tech Bisnow and “Top 10 Most Powerful Women in the DC Startup Community” by IntheCapital.In 2006, Lisa was named a finalist for PR News’ PR People Awards in the Agency Executive of the Year category—an accolade that honors outstanding leadership and achievement. In 2004, Lisa was recognized as a finalist for Washington Women in PR’s Woman of the Year award. This award acknowledges women in the Washington metro area who have demonstrated leadership, honor and community action. In 2005 and 2002, Lisa was honored as a Women In Technology (WIT) Rising Star Award finalist and President’s Award recipient for outstanding contribution and dedication to the organization, respectively.
