Director of Film and Video, The Nature Conservancy
As Director of Film and Video at The Nature Conservancy, Toby Hayman runs a small production team that makes hundreds of videos a year in support of their conservation mission. He and his team take part in every stage of the production process, writing, shooting, editing and finishing videos that are used at events, on social media, on blogs, on broadcast TV and as part of donor stewardship. The team takes on a variety of types of projects including mini documentaries, animated PSAs, 360 videos, and live presentations.
Prior to working at The Nature Conservancy he was a long-time broadcast editor, working on documentaries, ads, and promos for clients such as Discovery, National Geographic, and Smithsonian Networks. He was also on staff at the US Senate, and started out at the BBC in London. His credits include “Hogzilla”, presidential campaign ads, and over a hundred hours of Japanese television.
