UX Research & Strategy Lead, CARFAX
Vidhika Bansal is a design researcher and strategist with a background in behavioral science, brand marketing, and human-centered design. She currently leads UX research and strategy for a diverse set of B2B and B2C solutions at CARFAX.
She’s a people-watcher, question-asker, dot-connecter, and idea-generator who combines her love of data analysis, psychology, and storytelling to align teams to create experiences that are not only useful in theory, but that meet people’s real, often unarticulated needs—and that help achieve business goals in the process.
Prior to CARFAX, Vidhika worked as a consultant, influencing marketing and UX strategy for clients such as Hilton Worldwide, Facebook, the Army National Guard, 23andMe, Gap Inc., the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, PwC, the Consumer Electronics Association, and C-SPAN.
When she’s not busy deconstructing human behavior or brainstorming ways experiences could be better-designed, she likes to spend her time watching (and occasionally attempting) improv comedy, listening to songs no one’s ever heard of on repeat, marveling at thoughtful arrangements of words, reading endless articles (especially on Wait But Why, Brain Pickings, or Medium), trying new restaurants, and globetrotting (she’s lived in five countries, has visited 25 more, and hopes to slowly explore the rest).
